Efter att jag såg den här dokumentären på Discovery bestämde jag mig för att aldrig bada söder om Östersjön. :D

I det där läget skulle man ju vilja ha heltäckande ansiktsmask och möjlighet att spola av hela kroppen när man återvänder till båten! Men jag håller med dig, inte bada söder om Östersjön! Finnarna gör rätt då de badar bastu och sedan hoppar i vaken, finns inga maneter som är isbrytande! ;)

Senare i dokumentären återvände båda två till samma vik och fortsatte dyka efter Irukandji, den gången med heltäckande ansiktsmasker och ett annat tänk när de klev upp igen, precis som du föreslog. Tydligen har den maneten skördat en hel del offer, men man har aldrig kopplat dödsfallen till en manet eftersom man nästan aldrig sett några stora märken på kropparna. Maneten är liten som en tumnagel och trådarna är inte längre än en tändsticka ungefär. Fy fan vad läskigt. :)
