Yes folks, the preparations for Campaign 6 have started, and army sign-ups are ongoing.

The upcoming campaign looks to be one of, if not THE, most exiting so far, with a new mod containing a lot of new goodies and a new campaign concept.
Thanks to our in-house dev-team and quite a few modders from the community we have added a bunch of new toys for the armies to blow each other to pieces with.

Jones' artillery and Ike's T-90 are two of the new heavy hitters, and we also have the Be-32 from GranQ to help out with those express deliveries, along with some other stuff to help the armies fight the good fight.

Scrim 1 was the premiere for the new mod and the new territory capping concept, both very well received. It was fought in what will be the Northern chain in the campaign, the one we call the 'Airborne chain'. The second chain will be armor-based and together they're putting a whole new spin to the teamwork this tournament fosters. It will also be quite the test to the players' skill as they might pilot a UH-60 one battle and be the gunner of an MBT the next.

All-in-all, we think campaign 6 will be really awesome, so don't hesitate - join the fun today!

IC6 - BATTLE 01

SINC: 1-3-09 Armor Chain Battle Summary

January 9th, 2009 by Jack Bauer

On January 3, the IC-Arma campaign kicked off the year with a great start. With the first battle of the year and a new campaign, the conflict between United Sahrani Liberation Forces (USLF) and the North Bangango Defense Forces (NBDF) took place on the dangerous armor chain scenario. USLF and NBDF operations will involve massive armor engagements.

The battle began with both USLF forces and NBDF forces deploying to Iguana. USLF forces launched a large force of several M1 Abrams accompanied by infantry in Bradley LAVs and a Littlebird in the sky. NBDF units deployed consisted of a mixed force of T-90s and the mighty T-72s accompanied by infantry in several BMPs. Both armies raced to Iguana. The USLF army managed to reached Iguana before NBDF forces and dug in their armor between rocks. In less than thirty seconds, the wrath of NBDF war machines would reach them.

Both armies of tanks began engaging each other brutally. Commanders called out targets and gunners fired continuously at enemy tanks. USLF Private Guderina said ââ,¬Å"During the first five minutes of battle, we managed to destroy or disable at least four enemy tanks.ââ,¬Â The USLF forces dug into a hill and held their position, even with enemy artillery pounding their position. NBDF Private Richmuel was on the ground during this assault. He recalls ââ,¬Å"The assault of Tiberia across the desert plains from Iguana was a true sight to beholdââ,¬Â¦The excitement in those few moments really sums up the awesome moments that can be had in IC-Arma.ââ,¬Â

Eventually with strong communication and small anti tank ââ,¬Ëœninja crewsââ,¬â,,¢, NBDF forces flanked USLF forces and drove them back. USLF forces decided to withdraw to their base of operations to regroup to counter attack. By now, two hours into the battle with two important territories lost, all hope seemed gone for USLF forces. However, USLF forces would not let NBDF soldiers go unpunished for their actions.

One squad of M1 Abrams managed to regroup and organize an efficient counter attack on NBDF units. They eliminated several BMPs and even destroyed the enemyââ,¬â,,¢s artillery. This enabled USLF infantry to move up and recapture a territory. Soon after that, time ran out and the battle was over. Technically, NBDF forces won but the USLFââ,¬â,,¢s comeback was an amazing stunt. Both armies fought well and had a great time. This is what IC-Arma is all about.

The battle may be over but the war will continue. NBDF and USLF forces will engage again on the 10th to battle on the airborne chain scenario, sponsored by IC-Arma.

IC6 - BATTLE 02

1-10-09 Airborne Chain Summary

SINC is back with an update on the January 10th IC-ArmA battle. United Sarhani Liberation Forces (USLF) engaged North Bangago Defense Forces (NBDF) in the North Sarhani 'Puntas Orientals' mountain range AKA the Airborne chain. It would be a battle full of helicopters and infantry trying to secure the higher ground in these mountains.

The battle began on a sunny morning at around 12:00pm CST. At the USLF base of operations, the elite pilots turned on their Blackhawk engines. Soldiers rushed to their choppers and strapped themselves in, preparing for the longest day.

At the NBDF base, the soldiers had their orders. There were some Mi-17s filled with snipers and machine gunners. The giant Hips let their engines roar and flew their payload to the higher hills and mountains of the Puntas Orientals.

USLF soldiers reached Zulu 6 first and formed a tight perimeter deterring any enemy attacks with the assistance of a Blackhawk ââ,¬Ëœfunship.ââ,¬â,,¢ However, NBDF forces secured higher ground around the territory and began engaging incoming Blackhawks with anti tank weapons, small arms and heavy machine guns. Eventually, USLF forces couldnââ,¬â,,¢t hold and had to pull back from the NBDFs powerful attack. During this fallback, a small elite group of NBDF special forces penetrated enemy lines and sabotaged USLF artillery leaving a signature note in the area.

At Zulu 5, both USLF forces and NBDF forces were fighting fiercely at small close quarters engagements. USLF Private First Class Mojo remembers "significant action to seesaw between Zulu 5 and Zulu 6.ââ,¬Â Both armies were also fighting hard to take the high ground nearby. Eventually, the NBDFââ,¬â,,¢s rain of suppressive fire with machine guns and small arms paid off and the USLF forces were forced to retreat from Zulu 5 and Zulu 4. NBDF leaders took advantage of the situation and commanded their troops to seize Zulu 3. They were successful.

The USLF forces would not give up, even after losing a Blackhawk full of soldiers to an NBDF anti tank ââ,¬Ëœninja.ââ,¬â,,¢ They were able to spearhead some troops into a peninsula and dropped off troops west of the area. With this organized force and the assistance of the ââ,¬Ëœfunshipââ,¬â,,¢, USLF forces managed to secure Zulu 3 and held out there for the rest of the battle.

In conclusion, Battle 2 was a big engagement for both armies, with both forces fighting very hard. At the end of the day, NBDF forces secured more territory and were announced winners of the battle. However, the war is not over. Campaign 6 will go on for another eight battles, with the next one fought on January 17th in the Armor chain.
