SH3 World expansion

SH3 är rätt öppen i sin struktur och här är en av de första modifieringarna av "världen". Lägger till mer hamnar och flottbaser plus aktivitet runt dessa och ankrade skepp. :)

Locations and Land v1.3

These two files replace the LND and Locations files and expand the SH3 world with many new cities, harbors and defences, particularly in Britain, and on the eastern coast of North and South America.

SH3 World Version 1.3

Random Activity File

The random data layer includes all non military traffic that is randomly generated in campaign missions. This is merchant traffic, fishing boats, and pleasure boats. It may also include warships anchored in harbors.

Random activity in the default file was somewhat limited around many ports, and did not include anchored warships. We have enhanced this file to add activity to the new cities and ports, as well as adding anchored ships in major harbors in Britain and Ireland. There is much more work to do.. but for now you can grab version 1.0. This download includes SH World version 1.3.

World Expansion for Silent Hunter 3
The World Expansion for SH3 is designed to provide a deeper and more active campaign environment for the U-boat commander. The primary goals are these:

   * add new cities to the most active areas of the SH3 world (40 so far)
   * add detail around new and existing cities, including industry, searchlights, and land defences
   * add new harbors and expand some of the existing harbors (most are minimal)
   * add barriers, new minefields and antisubmarine nets
   * add ships at anchor in harbors (rotating according to levels of activity, so troop ships show up in harbors later in the war)
   * add new shipping activity, both random and scripted. This includes fishing and commercial traffic as well as military traffic and patrols
   * add new air activity, using historical coverage areas as a guide
   * add specific air strikes, such as against U-boat pens and German bases
   * add specific activity related to campaigns like D-Day
   * add specific activity of historical hunters like the Tirpitz , Bismarck, Prinz Eugen, Scharnhorst and Gneisenau

Nu verkar denna moden ha hamnat i juridiskt blåsväder med UBi vilket inte var svårt att förutse. När man vill ha pengar för någon annans copyright grejer brukar det ju bli lite känsligt....

tänk så mycke flight simulator hade sålt om inte funnits folk som gjorde ny terräng, flygplan mot betalning, gratis osv..

Vore ju förjävligt om det skulle börja bli likadant med silent hunter.. eller? :-OO

Problemen startar när man inte har tillstånd att göra payware. Freeware till SH3 är helt ok för UBi men när du börjar tjäna pengar på deras copyright utan tillstånd så är det väl inte så konstig om de skulle bli lite griniga...eller? :-OO

UBI är ju UBI, mycke mer behövs väl inte säga eller?
