Upplever att Falcon är nästa helt fri från "stutter" med denna exe:) :) Kan vara att jag kört Lomac Demot för mycket.

0.6 BETA FEATURES

WARNING!!

- This is a beta. As such, there may be bugs and incomplete features.

- PLEASE send your crashlogs to: f4@benchmarksims.com!


1) Z-Buffering

- The Z-Buffer is currently enabled for all BSP objects. Enabling it for the terrain will take a while longer.

- The vast majority of objects work without issues, but some objects suffer from your typical case of z-fighting.

- These objects can be fixed by separating the problematic polys.

- New models must at a minimum sort translucent polys. This restriction will be removed soon.

- To enable, set g_bZBuffering to 1 in falconsp.cfg.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO KEEP THIS DISABLED UNTIL THE NECCESSARY MODEL EDITS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED BY FF AND UT.


2) Mipmapping and Linear Mipmap Filtering:

- Mipmapping has been split into two separate settings (Object Mipmaps, and Landscape Mipmaps), and moved from falconsp.cfg to the Advanced Graphics tab.

- The new Linear Mipmap Filtering feature can be enabled in the Advanced Graphics tab.

- Trilinear filtering is enabled in the following cases:

 Objects: Object Mipmaps + Filter Objects.

 Landscape: Landscape Mipmaps + Filter Landscape.

WARNING!!

- Mipmapping, and especially trilinear filtering, should only be enabled on the following video cards:

- GeForce4 or better.

- Radeon 8500 or better.


3) Fog and Haze

- Volumetric and linear vertex fog have been implemented for all BSP objects and the terrain.

- Fixes the notorious haze burn through bug.

- Fixed TV/IR/NVG bugs present in 0.5 BETA.


4) Shimmering Objects

- Fixed a problem where hazed objects (the majority of ground objects) were not being filtered.

- Implemented alpha testing for chroma-keyed textures, allows them to be filtered.

- The new filtering options and above fixes should reduce object shimmering.

FF1 är till Free Falcon versionen (Inte NOSIG)
SP3 är för oss på NOSIG

Nya exe:s låter bra men läste nåt på frugalsworld att man släppt nån ny slags ljudpatch också? Bör man försöka få tag på denna eller är det org+1.08+sp3+FF2+bms exe som gäller?

Verkar som 0.7 av exe:n blivit släppt om man tittar på nerladdningssidan.
