Title: Patch 4.10m släppt!

Tomten hade med sig patchen igår och Daidalos Team verkar ha gjort ett super jobb! Det är rätt otroligt att IL-2 Sturmovik snart är inne på sitt 10:e år och "still going strong" :)

Även om den var 8+ månader försenad och att allt som "lovats" inte kom med utan får vänta tills nästa patch/ar så är där massor med nyheter/förbättringar... Efter att ha läst igenom doc's igår så blir mina tre personliga favoriter nog...

 1. Structural G limits
 2. Wind affects bullets, rockets and bombs
 3. Improved pilot damage difficulty option

Nu e det dags för lite flygtest i nån favortikärra!

Few words before you hit that download button...The development of 4.10 patch took longer than we have anticipated in the beginning as we continued adding more content than originally planned. In order to give you the most stable version of the patch without any further delay we have decided to make the unpopular decision and did not include all the content that was previously announced in our development updates. The patch content became simply too big and complicated to test all together at once. But that does not mean we have abandoned the features we have informed you about before. To be specific, the following features are NOT included in 4.10 patch, but will come in our next releases:

1) AI seeing through clouds and other more complex AI improvements - priority candidate for 4.11
2) Triggers - priority candidate for 4.11
3) More complex MDS features - as a first step we wanted introduce the core feature of MDS in 4.10 = moving AI units and carriers on dogfight server
4) Ship damage effects - some ship DM improvements have been included in 4.10. More to come in the future.
5) Radar - was not planned for 4.10 yet. We do need to complete the full scenario before we release it.

We are also going to switch to smaller but more frequent patch releases from now on. 4.10 will be the foundation for our future work. As with the previous patch we would like to ask IL-2 community members to report any relevant issues or errors that did slip through our beta testing net. We have just opened the 4.10 bug report thread for this. Of course you can also use our DT email for the bug reports: daidalos.team@gmail.com We are committed to continue improving our work in the future patches.

Hm, jag installerade men spelet kraschade direkt, inledningsskärmen han bara blinka till :-/

Inga problem att installera här, funkar perfekt... installerade du över en clean 4.09m???

Mm, jag hade klappt provspelat förra versionen, la bara in det för LANet... åväl, räcker med DCS A10 och ArmaII ett bra tag framöver :D

Ska man installera över bara 4.09m eller går det bra att man har Ultrapack och sånt där installerat? Jag installerade rakt över det jag hade innan och nu händer inte ett skit när jag startar "il2fb.exe". Hrmm... får väl ominstallera rubbet.

Tack, drog hem den också. I vilken ordning ska jag patcha? Är det 4.07m > 4.08m > 4.09m > 4.10m eller kan man hoppa över något steg?

Du måste installera dessa patchar över en clean install, funkar inte om du försöker patcha med UP X.

Så det blir följande ordning om du installerar från 1946 DVD'n och du måste installera alla.

4.07m > 4.08m > 4.09m > 4.10m > 4.10.1m

SKa fixa igång de ja me så fort ja hinner men ska bort idag så de blir nog tidigast nästa helg.
Blir en perfekt uppvärmning inför Cliffs of Dover  ;D

Sådär, fick igång det fint och flög en stund på UK Dedicated 1 men nu får det räcka för ikväll.

Edit: Märker att jag måste ha skivan i när jag startar spelet. Hur gjorde jag för att få bort detta mög som Halmstadsfolket säger?
