Goalkeeper kräver stora ingrepp där den skall installeras medan Phalanx bara bultas fast i backen/däcket och sen är det klart. Sen lär Goalkeeper kosta ungefär dubbelt så mycket som Phalanx och det lär väl spela in oxå.

En annan skillnad är kalibern på projektilerna. Goalkeeper är i grunden en modifierad GAU-8 30mm (samma som sitter i A-10 Warthog). Phalanx använder 20mm projektiler. Mer stopping power i Goalkeeper med andra ord och ungefär samma rof.
